Terms of Use
Last updated: October 2, 2026
The rules for using SCtoMP3, in plain language. Please read them before downloading.
Using SCtoMP3
By using sctomp3.cc you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
SCtoMP3 is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to SoundCloud.
Personal use and copyright
SCtoMP3 is meant for personal, non-commercial offline listening. You are responsible for what you download and how you use it.
Only download content you have the right to keep, such as your own uploads, tracks released for free or under an open licence, and music the rights holder has allowed you to save. Don’t use downloads to redistribute, resell or publicly perform someone else’s work without permission.
Downloading copyrighted material without permission may be illegal where you live. Respect the artists, labels and other rights holders.
What you may not do
- Use automated scripts, bots or scrapers to send large numbers of requests.
- Try to get around rate limits, Supporter restrictions or other protections.
- Interfere with the service, its servers or other people’s use of it.
- Use SCtoMP3 for anything unlawful.
How the service works
SCtoMP3 only works with publicly available tracks. Private tracks, region-blocked tracks and previews of paid content can’t be downloaded.
Audio quality depends on the source. Converting to a lossless format such as WAV or FLAC keeps the quality of the source; it can’t improve it.
If a track can’t be fetched directly from SoundCloud, SCtoMP3 may try to find the same recording from another public source. In that case the result can differ from the SoundCloud version, for example in length or edit.
The Supporter pass
The Supporter pass is a one-time payment through Ko-fi that unlocks extra features, currently 320kbps MP3, WAV and FLAC downloads and full playlists, for the period you buy (30 days or 3 months). It does not renew automatically.
The pass is linked to the email address used on Ko-fi and is for your personal use. Don’t share your login with others.
Payments are handled by Ko-fi and are subject to Ko-fi’s own terms. If something went wrong with your pass, email [email protected] and we will look at it with you.
We may change which features the pass includes in the future. Changes won’t reduce what a pass you have already bought includes until it ends.
Availability and changes
We work to keep SCtoMP3 fast and available, but we can’t promise it will always work. SoundCloud may change how its site works, and parts of the service may stop working temporarily or permanently. We may change, pause or end any part of the service at any time.
No warranty
SCtoMP3 is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose or that files will be error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, SCtoMP3 is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for how you use the files you download. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Copyright complaints
SCtoMP3 doesn’t host music files; it converts publicly available streams on request. If you are a rights holder and have a concern, email [email protected] with the details and we will respond promptly.
Privacy
How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. Using SCtoMP3 after a change means you accept the updated terms.
